Features
The oil wick made of oleophylic polypropylene fiber has excellent oleophylic performance, which will still receive oil even if being stained with. The specific gravity of oil wick is about 0.9, so it can float on water and move along the wave, keeping in touch with oil layer.
The working temperatures of oil wick ranges from -35 to 70c, which makes it even able to recover oil spill under ice layer.
It can work in narrow space regardless of the floating debris, such as deep well.
Both car bottom type skimmer and suspending skimmer are provided. Car bottom type skimmer is fixed on shore or vessel, recovering oil skimmer by floating guide pulley and long oil wick. In the suspending type, oil wick is hung on the surface of oil spill by a crane, which is conveniently operated and can work in atrocious sea condition.
