Deck Azimuth Thruster

It is a kind of marine power propulsion which combined azimuth thruster and diesel engine. The whole set can be installed directly on the deck base. The vertical height is adjusted by mechanic equipments or hydraulic equipments.The ships can better satisify the full load and no load propellers immersion depth need.

Combined design propeller and nozzle together, enlarge diameter of propeller and low down its rotate speed, which keep high propulsion efficiency and enhance thrust force.
Carefully design the rudder-rod profile and its displace from propeller, which improve propulsion efficiency and reduce vibration, especially reduce steering torque.
Adopt high-strength gear and bearing of high speed, seals and pipeline also being carefully design, which improve the system’s reliability and longevity.
The steering mechanism can be drived by electrical motor or hydraulic motor.
According to the difference of operation condition, it can be divided into three kind: FPP with nozzle, CPP with nozzle, without nozzle.

Fully self-contained outboard propulsion units with a prime mover that can be either a diesel engine, electric motor or hydraulic pump/motor combination. The vertical stem can be tilted for cleaning and maintenance with its length tailored to your vessel design. As an option the drive stem can be depth adjustable to allow the units to operate in shallow draft conditions.
