The tank lid packing is a hollow core of special rubber for maximum chemical resistance.
Around it is a protective layer of PTFE tape which is surrounded by a thick cushion of defibrillated polypropylene that has corners constructed from the same materials braided into cords.
Over the packing is a double layer of heavy-duty PTFE tape with a final outer protection of braided PTFE yarn.
Application: Static. Cargo or chemical tanks. Acids, alkalis, oils, solvents, chemicals, edible products.
Maximum temperature: 100°C.
Maximum pressure: 1 Bar.
