Auxiliary anode insulating with the steel plate should be installed at the hull underwater part; at the same time reference electrode should be installed in the hull. When the output current form the potential via auxiliary anode get to the hull surface, the electrode potential of hull plate surface will reach to +0.25~+0.05V(relative to Zn reference electrode).the hull plate will be protected.
